Alright, back to 'serious' blogging business!

Today, we are gonna introduce to you the new additions to the Services icon on the OneMap map portal. Services created by government agencies using OneMap will be listed under this icon.

First up, we have the Businesses for Families!

If your memory is good, we have introduced to you the family friendly businesses theme many many posts ago. Anyway, let's take a look in detail at how we can make use of this service!

Navigate to the Service icon, select the Businesses for Families option. The www.bfc.sg website will pop up.


Where can you find the map? It is located at the 'Handy Map' tab.

Once you are at the page, there will be a Industry and Business drop down option for you to choose. In this example, we have selected Entertainment and one of the companies listed.



Hit the search button and you will be able to see where are the family friendly cinemas around Singapore! As with other OneMap services, you can zoom and pan to get a more detailed view of the location!
