This post is especially targeted to our environmentally conscious users. Now you have another piece of evidence to show everyone that all the hype surrounding green technologies to enhance our lived environment is not all talk and no show.

Show it to them using OneMap!

Courtesy of Building and Construction Authority, Green Mark buildings in Singapore can now be viewed in OneMap.

Navigate to the Themes icon and then to the Environment option, you would be able to select the ‘Green Mark Buildings’ option.

Select the option and you would see all the environmentally friendly buildings around your area of focus.

I am in fact pleasantly surprised by the number of green mark buildings we have in Singapore. Keep them coming! :)

Each year BCA would be assessing the buildings that fulfil certain criteria and they will be awarded according to the standards met. You can refer to BCA’s website here for more information the Green Mark scheme.

So next time you go out with your environmentally conscious friends, impress them by pointing to the building and say “Hey, do you know that this is a Green Mark Building? I know it from OneMap!”
