Remember such a campaign poster?

Yup, if you can recall, it was the "I Quit" campaign launched by Health Promotion Board a few months back! We are sure that the publicity of this campaign and the sheer determination of smokers to quit smoking have left a deep impression on all of us.

For smokers who want to quit the smoking habit but are not aware of the smoking cessation clinics around them, it is time to go to the OneMap portal to find out their location!

The Quit Centres is a new theme in OneMap and it displays all the smoking cessation clinics on a map so users can have a better visualisation of their locations. As always, click on the themes icon at the top left of the map portal and navigate to Health option and you will find the Quit Centres theme. 


Users can also click on each of the icon to find out more about the fees and services offered for each of the cessation centre.

As people who work with maps and spatial data, TeamOneMap has also realised something interesting... When these quit centres are displayed on a map, it becomes a lot more evident that these help centres are actually located quite evenly throughout Singapore and that a centre is definitely near you... something which is hard to observe if you are just going through a list of such centres. :)
