Singapore is gonna be greener in the next 10 years!
A few days ago, NParks announced a framework that would make Singapore a "City in a Garden" (or CIAG in short). Our urban landscape would be infused with more greenery and regional parks would be enhanced for more residents to enjoy.
NParks will be sourcing for ideas from Singaporeans, so do go to www.nparks.gov.sg/ciag to share your thoughts and ideas for this awesome movement!
If you want to know where are all the parks in Singapore, you can also go to the OneMap portal to find out! NParks contributed the "Parks" layer which is parked under the Themes icon.
Simply navigate to the Themes icon and then to the Recreation option to view the Parks layer.
In addition to the location of the parks, a brief description of the park is also available upon clicking on any of the parks icon on the map. As usual, you can always find out more from NParks by clicking on the more info link.
That's all for now but stay tune for the next post as we reveal the top 10 most searched themes for June and July! :)
