In view of the recent Tsunami disaster that has occurred in Japan, the mindset of crisis awareness have struck many as an important one to have for people all over the world.

Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) has a website, crisis.gov.sg to disseminate information related to crisis management. It is a one stop website to get information from first aid knowledge, floods and dengue fever to bomb threats and bomb shelter locations.

Under OneMap's Services Icon, there is an Emergency Services option that would bring users to the crisis.gov.sg website. Within the website, there is a section on SLA OneMap that can display the various locations of A&E departments and police posts.

Users can select any of hospitals or police posts in the drop down options and view their locations on OneMap.


The zooming function is also enabled to allow users to view a larger extent of the map to know what's near these locations.
